feel the joy.....

Hello all!  Hope each of you are doing well.  As for me, I am "feeling the joy"!  One thing that's bringing me much joy is the opportunity to play in my little studio.  I've been making cards!  It has been a while since I've taken the time to do a little card making just because. I've been teaching myself to stamp using water color markers and are certainly pleased with the results!  After stamping these pretty butterflies I added just a touch of stickles to add hint of glitter shine.

I hope to bring you lots more of my crafting fun in the coming year, a slightly new format for Tea Time.  So look for more card making and other papers arts, new product discoveries and other paper fun stuff.

I hope you join me as we together delight in the little things....  Enjoy a beautiful week.

i do......

Hello all.  Hope your week is moving along just beautifully.  Sitting in my little studio, it occurred to me that I had not shared with you by way of photos just what I've been up to these past months.  I know I've mentioned just how busy I have been as of late, but wanted to share a little more.

Creating for weddings, I am often reminded of my very own wedding day. It was small, beautiful with family and friends.  I am one to believe that all weddings are beautiful regardless of size.  I really do prefer the small intimate gatherings of family and friends.

I have learned so much this past year.  I have also met many wonderful and excited brides-to-be and some wonderful moms too!  I remember my dear sweet mother organizing and making sure all was well down to the tiniest detail...are moms special or what. :)

Wish tags are certainly popular and fairly new for the American bride.  Each guest is given a Wish tag writing their wishes and blessings along with some good advice for the new Mr. and Mrs.  Once all Wish tags are completed they are hung from a tree, a symbol for life.  Some choose to place them in a basket, bird cage or a beautiful bowl..personally I love the tree idea. :)

By the way, the studio pics I promised, the lighting was not the greatest the day I chose to take them.  The photos were simply bad even with editing so I must take them again.  I simply became frustrated trying to salvage them, oh my were they bad.:)  I will be taking more soon.

Each of you take care.  I will be back this way soon.  Continue to enjoy a beautiful summer!

Hello Friends!

To say it has been a while is an understatement for sure.  I could not go one moment longer without saying hello.  I sure hope each and everyone of you are enjoying a lovely summer.  Mine I must say is moving along just beautifully.

I have so much to share with you.  I think I have spent the last few months pretty wisely, and oh by the way, I also have a studio makeover I can hardly wait for you to see. I have a feeling you are going to love it, at least I hope so. :)

Continue to enjoy a beautiful summer my friends.  I'll be back shortly I promise.

busy me......

Oh my is it really February already!  Are you enjoying a beautiful new year, I certainly hope so.  Sorry for the long time away and certainly missed you much.  I have been busy in my little studio creating away for the sweetest brides-to-be.  I am so enjoying sharing in their excitement and it feels wonderful to play a tiny part in help making their day a special one.

The tree near my studio window is beginning to lose its pretty white winter blooms and giving way to tiny tender green leaves letting me know that spring is not too far in the future.  When the winds blow, the little white flowers look like butterflies in flight, so very pretty.  I am longing for spring are you.

I have had very little time for photo taking as of late.  In those times, I search the web for something wonderful and certainly found it in ace clipart.  It is a wonderful site and have some beautiful photos for your use.  I chose the lovely butterfly photo above, pretty don't you think.  I hope you take a peek.  Like me you just may need them someday. :)

Enjoy a lovely week each and everyone of you!

for the love of christmas....

The tree is dressed and the excitement of Christmas is in the air.  Hello all, I hope each of you are enjoying a beautiful week.  It certainly is a busy time of year for so many of us.  Last evening Honey and I went in search of Christmas lights.  If you have followed me for sometime here on the blog, you know how much I love all those pretty twinkling colorful lights, simply wonderful!  Christmas is certainly a special time of the year!

Tomorrow I will be making a trip to the market in search of some lovely red delicious apples, some for eating and some for oven drying for apple cinnamon potpourri.  I missed making them last year and was determined to do so this year.  Once the slow process of drying the apples is done then the real fun begins.  I then add to the apples...cinnamon, apple spice potpourri oil, cinnamon sticks and a few small dried pods. Once all ingredients are added, I place it all in a bag and shake shake shake.  Once the shaking is complete I the potpourri in a pretty bowl. The wonderful smell of these apples certainly say Christmas and last and last.  If the smell fades simply add a few drops of potpourri oil.  Click here for complete instructions on drying apples. I hope you try it. :)

Continue to enjoy a lovely week each and everyone of you♥
